Grey is the New Black: Unseen Singapore
By Bella Bray and Rachel Loh
Charming street photography that celebrates the style and fashion of the elderly in Singapore.
Grey is the New Black: Unseen Singapore is a celebration of style; A series of stories and connections inspired by Singapore Auntie fashion aiming to bring seniors back from society’s unseen. Street scouted for over a year from Tiong Bahru to Yishun, Geylang to Serangoon. A celebration of unique style and beauty, a tribute to aging artfully.
This is a story about Singapore’s aunties and uncles. This is a story about the interesting street style that often goes unseen. But most of all this is a celebration of ageless beauty and authenticity in a society that today is obsessed with trends and youth.
Profits from the sale of this title will be donated by Bella and Rachel to non-profit foundation Happy People Helping People.
