As part of Asian Civilisations Museum's Level Up Festival, we take over the River Room for one fun-filled weekend. Join us as we transform it into a playground with a pop-up market, mega hopscotch, life-size Snakes & Ladders and tons of surprises for the young and young at heart 🎲

10am-1pm: Hopscotch

Make your way through our slightly absurd and very supersized version of hopscotch! Suitable for ages 4 - 99 (YES, we change the difficulty level according to your age. BOTH adults and kids are welcome!!)

Perfect for families to play together and bond, or friends who just want to goof around and indulge their inner children.

Focused on creating gentle yet effective essentials using skin-loving ingredients, their products are thoughtfully designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Benew's goal is to make everyday body care enjoyable and accessible without compromising on comfort or performance.

  • Brewhouse

    Brewhouse originated as a student-run, non-profit coffee cart at Yale-NUS, providing the school community with their daily cup of coffee and tea. Following the closure of Yale-NUS in 2025, Brewhouse has transitioned to a for-hire coffee cart. However, the heart behind Brewhouse remains the same – bringing people together, one cup of good coffee at a time.

    Choose from a wide variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages, ranging from a classic latte, to matcha and chocolate.

    Cruddy is a locally grown brand inspired by things of life and random thoughts. Using anthropomorphic characters in a scene, Cruddy's designs often provoke raised brows or a warm inner giggle.

    Slowmolds Ceramics began as a personal rebellion to escape from digital screens into the slow tactile rhythm of mud, and is now a love letter to living life boldly as a maker. Founded by former art director Shervin Low, her practice focuses on handmade functional and sculptural wares inspired by ordinary everyday objects around us. Each collection is made from a love of play and form, crafted intentionally to celebrate spaces that want to live a little louder.

    For Play Date, Slowmolds is collaborating with Studio Siento to present Lost & Found – a playful collection of mixed-media charm objects and small wares inspired by the things we’re always misplacing. Blending handbuilt ceramic charms with crochet, ribbons, chains and found details, the collaboration reimagines bag charms as tactile keepsakes; part accessory, part collectible. Alongside these, Slowmolds will showcase ceramic wares designed to help you keep track of life’s little essentials, from ring holders to wall hooks. Rooted in childlike curiosity and everyday rituals, their booth invites visitors to rediscover the joy of play, memory, and holding onto what matters.

  • Wormhole

    An online bookstore built on the belief that stories are essential for readers and non-readers alike. Come shop a curation of books and merch including stickers, prints, bags, and accessories.

. Is there an admission fee?

Entry is free! Tickets for Worms & Ladders are priced at $10 each, and must be pre-bought on our website here. Entry for Hopscotch is $2 and can be paid at the event.

. What modes of payment are accepted at the event?
We're going cashless!

. How do I get to the venue?

. Is the event wheelchair-accessible?
Yes, our event is accessible via lifts and entrances with ramps. ACM also has wheelchair-friendly restrooms and a manual wheelchair for loan.

. I want to bring my child. What age group is this event suitable for?
We have activities to suit all age groups and there's definitely something to see, whether you're coming on your own, with friends, or with family!

If you're bringing children, we recommend Hopscotch (best suited for ages 4 and up) and checking out our pop-up market - a few of the booths have fun kid-friendly activities!
